2026 Music and Cultural Program
Live Music Despite GEMA Fees – Though Not Every Day
Our Christmas market is renowned for its special atmosphere—a charm created not only by the handicrafts and sparkling lights but, above all, by our live bands. Unfortunately, we are once again unable to host live music on Mondays this year. This is due to the disproportionately high GEMA fees, which make a daily music program impossible without public subsidies.
We deeply regret this, as live music is the heart and soul of our market and what makes it truly unique. We are all the more delighted, however, to offer you a varied musical program on the other evenings.
