Parking
Parking lots around Muenchner Freiheit and generally in Schwabing are very rare. Please use public transportation and the so called Park+Ride suburbean railway staions of the U-Bahn and the S-Bahn. For information on P+R parking lots see: › P+R im MVV (German only)
If you have to go by car you will find this hints handy:

The is a parking lot north of Muenchner Freiheit. It can be reached via Ungerer Strasse eastbound/northbound. Turn right into Marschall Strasse and you will see the entrance to the parking lot (with costs) on the right hand side.

There is also a garage in 20 Occam Strasse. Follow Marschall Strasse and turn right into the next street (Occam Strasse). You will see the entrance on the left hand side.
Parking for Coaches
Dear coach drivers,
Welcome to Munich.
Unfortunately there are no legal spaces for coaches in the vicinity of the Schwabing Christmas Market.
After deboarding of your passengers at Schwabing Christmas Market you may use the following mid term parking spaces:
- Park+Ride parking space Fröttmaning (which is the geographically closest)
- Park+Ride parking space Messestadt Ost
- Park+Ride parking space Heimeranplatz
- parking space Hansastraße
